Sarting on April 23, Netflix will be showing 11 of the best Indonesian films produced by Falcon Pictures.

1. This Earth of Mankind (Bumi Manusia)
This Earth of Mankind is a 2019 Indonesian historical biographical drama directed by Hanung Bramantyo and written by Salman Aristo. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This Earth of Mankind stars Iqbaal Ramadhan, Mawar Eva de Jongh, and Sha Ine Febriyanti. Bumi Manusia received 12 nominations at the 2019 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI).

The film revolves around Minke's (Iqbaal Ramadan) uncertainty between European progress and the struggle to defend his homeland, and his relationship with Annelies (Mawar Eva de Jongh).

2. Dilan 1990
Dilan 1990 is a 2018 Indonesian drama film based on the novel Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku in 1990 by Pidi Baiq who also co-directed alongside Fajar Bustomi. The film, starring Iqbaal Ramadhan and Vanesha Prescilla managed to achieve great success by ranking second as the film with the most number of audience in the history of Indonesian cinema, with more than 6.3 million audience.

Dilan 1990 tells the story between Dilan (Iqbaal Ramadhan) and Milea (Vanesha Prescilla) which began during their unusual introduction at a high school in Bandung in 1990. Although Dilan's speech sounds stiff, and has a unique way to get to know Milea, but the attitude that's what makes Milea curious and wants to get to know Dilan. Unfortunately, their sweet moment must be disturbed by the presence of Milea's boyfriend who lives in Jakarta and other problems.

3. Dilan 1991
The second film from Dilan trilogy still tells the continuation of the love story between Dilan and Milea. Dilan 1991 alone was enjoyed by more than 5.2 million audience and topped the acquisition of the largest Indonesian film audience in 2019.

4. Milea: Suara dari Dilan
The last film from Dilan trilogy tells the end of the love story of Milea and Dilan from a different perspective, the film was again recorded as an Indonesian film with the most number of viewers in 2020, with more than 3.1 million viewers.

5. Si Doel The Movie
Si Doel The Movie is an Indonesian family drama movie which is a sequel to the continuation of the phenomenal series in the 1990s Si Doel Anak Sekolahan. This film was produced in 2018 and directed by H.Rano Karno.

Si Doel The Movie tells about the continuation of the love story Doel chases after Sarah (Cornelia Agatha), who had once been his wife in Netherlands, as well as meeting his child. This film is the first Indonesian film to hold a Premier Gala in Netherlands. Rano Karno also won the "Best Male Cast" award at Indonesian Movie Actor Awards.

6. Si Doel The Movie 2
The sequel to the film Si Doel The Movie tells the continuation of the love story between Doel, Sarah, and Zaenab (Maudy Koesnaedi), which is getting more complicated. The audience was intrigued by Doel's attitude in determining his love for Sarah or Zaenab.

7. Akhir Kisah Cinta Si Doel
This film becomes the final round in Doel's love journey in choosing his life partner. The third film from Si Doel The Movie has been watched by more than 1.1 million viewers in cinemas throughout Indonesia.

8. Teman Tapi Menikah
Teman Tapi Menikah is a 2018 Indonesian drama film starring Adipati Dolken and Vanesha Prescilla. The film is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Ayudia Bing Slamet and Ditto Percussion.

TemanTapi Menikah tells about the struggle of Ditto (Duke of Dolken) in getting Ayudia’s love (Vanesha Prescilla). The film was successfully nominated at 2018 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) for the categories "Best Male Actor", "Best Adaptation Screenplay Writer" and "Best Theme Song Creator".

9. Teman Tapi Menikah 2
The sequel to the #TemanTapiMenikah movie received a lot of appreciation and positive reviews. TemanTapi Menikah tells about the life of Ayudia Bing Slamet (this time played by Mawar Eva de Jongh) and Ditto Percussion after being officially married and have a family

10. My Stupid Boss
This comedy film is directed by Upi Avianto and stars Bunga Citra Lestari and Reza Rahadian. The film won several awards at the 2016 FFI including "Best Male Lead Actor", "Best Male Supporting Actor", and "Best Picture Editor".

My Stupid Boss tells about the relationship between an employee named Diana (BCL) and her boss (Reza Rahadian) whose behavior is very frustrating. Diana lives in Kuala Lumpur following Dika (Alex Abbad), her husband who works there. Diana then applied to work at a company. It turns out that her boss was Dika’s college friend while in America.

11. My Stupid Boss 2
The sequel to My Stupid Boss tells the adventures of Bossman and Diana who went to Vietnam to look for employees, due to the crisis that occurred at the Bossman factory, so many employees resigned. Still with Bossman's strange and annoying behavior, in Vietnam instead of getting employees, they actually get a lot of problems because of Bossman's behavior.
