One third of the world's population currently lives in quarantine as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people do all activities from home, including studying, working, shopping, to worship. No doubt, some people also claim to have started to get bored constantly staying at home.

To help you get rid of boredom, this time Alinear will again give a recommended Netflix comedy series that is worth watching to keep you entertained during #stayathome.

1. Mr. Iglesias
Mr. Iglesias is an American comedy web television series that premiered on Netflix on June 21, 2019. The series stars an American comedian and actor, Gabriel Iglesias who executive produces.

Mr. Iglesias follows a good-natured and funny public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being "counseled out" by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential.

2. Living with Yourself
Living with Yourself is an American comedy-drama web television series created by Timothy Greenberg that premiered on October 18, 2019, on Netflix. It stars Paul Rudd who also serves as an executive producer

 

Living with Yourself follows the story of a man who, after undergoing a mysterious treatment in a spa that promises him the allure of a better life, discovers that he has been replaced by a cloned better version of himself.

3. Russian Doll
Russian Doll is an American comedy-drama web television series, created by Natasha Lyonne, Leslye Headland, and Amy Poehler, that premiered on February 1, 2019, on Netflix. 

The series follows Nadia Vulvokov (Lyonne), a game developer who repeatedly dies and relives the same night in an ongoing time loop and tries to solve it, leading to her finding Alan Zaveri in the same situation (portrayed by Charlie Barnett).

 

Its first season received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Lyonne.

4. Dead to Me
Dead to Me is an American black comedy web television series created by Liz Feldman which premiered on May 3, 2019 on Netflix. The series stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.

The first season received positive reviews. In June 2019, Netflix renewed the series for a second season which is set to be released in May, 2020. At the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, Applegate received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

 

Dead to Me is about a powerful friendship that blossoms between Jen (Applegate) and Judy (Cardellini). Jen is a recently widowed real estate agent trying to come to terms with her loss through therapy. This is how she meets Judy, who is a part of a therapy group. However, Judy keeps a dark secret. Jen becomes more unhinged as she unravels the mystery of her husband's death and secret life.

5. Gentefied
Gentefied is an American comedy-drama web television series created by Marvin Lemus and Linda Yvette Chávez, that premiered on Netflix on February 21, 2020. The series stars Karrie Martin, Joseph Julian Soria, Carlos Santos and Joaquín Cosio.

Gentefied follows the story of three Mexican-American cousins and their struggle to chase their dreams, even while that same dream threatens the things they hold most dear: their immigrant grandfather, their neighborhood, and the family taco restaurant.
