Moving to a new workplace can make someone confused or even tend to become withdrawn because they feel awkward in the new environment. To avoid these things, here are 5 ways to adapt to a new workplace.
 
1. Get to Know Everyone
Don't be shy to invite people around your work desk to get to know each other. Try to relax and introduce yourself, occasionally inviting them to chat to get to know each other better. Because the people around you can make you enthusiastic about working, but it is also useful for expanding your social circle.

2. Show Enthusiasm
As the new kid in the office, show your enthusiasm for work. No matter how hard the work you are given, you must still view it positively and don't let it dampen your enthusiasm for work. Take part in activities held at the office, and show your achievements so that the office can see that you are the right choice and will not disappoint.
 
3. Respect the Company Culture
Remember that every company has its own culture and regulations. Find out, and follow it. After all, you are now in a new company and working there. Watch your attitude and language when you are in the office, so that other people don't have a bad impression of you.
 
 
4. Don't Be Embarrassed To Ask
Since something or other is new to you, don't be shy to ask your colleagues or even your boss. Especially when it comes to the work you do. Rather than being reprimanded because your work is wrong, it's better to ask to prevent making mistakes.
 
5. Ask Appraisal
After about a month of work, ask for an assessment or evaluation from your superior. By receiving feedback, you can improve your performance to produce even better work.
