At the first time, started out as a barbershop of the same name, Chief’s expansion into the food and beverage industry was an opportune coincidence that gave birth to Chief Coffee. The people of Chief conceptualised the café as a simple waiting room where queueing patrons could sipping on coffee before getting a haircut. To their surprise, the idea gained popularity beyond what they expected.

Don’t be mistaken, you would not be sipping on coffee in the same room as the patrons who are grooming. Whereas the upper floor is the spacious Chief Barbershop, the lower ground is the revered café. Chief Coffee offers you a selection of food and beverages in a space that could also serve as an art gallery. The walls are embellished with selected art pieces and photography. Chief Coffee offers the finest coffee, they are roasting their own coffee beans at the café.

2. Say Something Coffee
The coffee shop started in Meruya, West Jakarta. Luckily for those who crave for their coffee but are put off by the distance, Say Something has branched out to the Kemang area, South Jakarta, settling comfortably within the lifestyle building of Como Park. As usual, quality coffee is assured when you are at this coffee shop, where espresso-based coffee is made using their house blend (Ethiopia and Kenya).

3. Slatan Coffee
When you come inside, you will feel overwhelmed. It ss a very pretty coffee shop. The place is very homey. They have long table for those who want to work with their laptops. Slatan also have table with comfy sofa. There is an outdoor seat too for smoking area. It’s not very spacious but very cozy.

One you have to try at Slatan Coffee is Kopi Dua Susu. They used the common milk for latte, and sweetened condensed milk as the second one. If you think it would be super sweet, it is not actually. It is just sweet and milky. Perfectly combined with the coffee.

Papiri iss very easy to find since they put a big sign in the facade. Well, from the facade, you will think it is just a small coffee shop with not too big parking area. But, when you come in, you will be amazed with the spacious area inside. They have cozy seating area with lovely smoking room and comfy meeting room. Just perfect for those coffee shop hunters! As the choice, you can order their latte with not too strong coffee and a milky texture.

From a small business to a bigger business. From Indonesia’s first coffee subscription service to a Monday to Sunday coffee shop.
