The Social Network
The movie tells a story about the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. Yup! The biggest social media in the world has a unique starting story. It’s telling the flashback of Mark’s life back in 2003. At the time he had to break up with his girlfriend, Erica, that made him put the rage by creating a site named facemash.com. At the beginning Mark was hated by all girl students and got threats from the boyfriends. But on the other side the site attracted the attention from Harvard University. Mark developed his site into a new site he named thefacebook, which was the beginning of Facebook. Starred by Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Rooney Mara as Erica, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker (founder of Napster), and Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, the movie was released in 2010 but remains as one of the inspiring yet entertaining for your weekend movie.

The Intern
The story revolves around a 70 year old man named Ben Whittaker, who had just lost his wife. He is also a retiree but he could not stay still. This made him want to work in office again. Finally, he is hired to work as a senior intern at an online fashion company belonged to Jules Ostin. The company is one of the start-ups and the situation is 180 degree different than the situation at Ben’s old company. Many things happened while Ben works in the company, but instead of us being a spoiler you can watch it while enjoying your weekend!

The Devil Wears Prada
Based on the same-titled novel by Lauren Weisberger, the movie was booming in 2006. It tells a story about a woman named Andrea Sacks, nicknamed Andy, who had just graduated from famous university. With her many achievements, she intended to become a journalist in New York. She sent proposals to many media company and accepted from one of the most famous fashion media, Runway. She didn’t know who was Miranda Priestly, the editor in chief of Runway, who has a big influence in the fashion industry. At first Andy didn’t know anything about the brutal and mean fashion industry. She, her boyfriend, and friends used to mock the people who work in the industry until she became one of them. Andy could have every woman’s dream job, but how does she deal with her cold and mean boss Miranda Priestly plus her jealous and underestimating co-worker, and made it to gain the boss’ trust to go with her to the Paris Fashion Week? Office Space
Everybody wants to get a dream job with big salary. But the job can mean nothing if you feel miserable and bored with it. The movie tells a story about Peter (Ron Livingstone) who is being miserable and bored with his job at soft computer field. Not to mention his boss Lumberg (Gary Cole) who made Peter’s world is even worse because of his annoying behavior. Fortunately Peter has a friend with the same life, David (Michael Bolton) who has blood relation with the famous singer Michael Bolton. But David doesn’t like the singer. The hatred peaked up when his fiancée cut off their wedding plan. Finally Peter decides to go to a psychologist and do things he never did before. Packed with humor, the movie will bring you laughter and the best one to watch when you feel overwhelmed with your office.

Up in the Air
It tells a story of a man named Ryan Bringham, played by George Clooney, who works in a special company and hired by other companies to fire their employees. He enjoys his job so much because the job allows him to travel around The States. Until one day Vera Farmiga came into his life. She is a woman who has the same job as his. And now Ryan has to take care of a new staff Natalie Keener, played by Anna Kendrick. This made him feel depressed and unhappy. Now his personal life becomes even sad because his own younger sibling doesn’t consider his existence. The movie gives a message as well as telling you the importance of keeping a balance of your personal life and career.
