The biggest annual culinary festival, Festival Jajanan Bango 2019 is back. This year, Festival Jajanan Bango will be held on March, 16 – 17 at Squash Parking Area, Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta.

Carrying new theme ‘Kelezatan Asli, Lintas Generasi’ (original delicacy, cross generations), you can taste a wide array of Indonesian food from many regions. There are more than 80 culinary stands, 10 of them are vendors from across generations, Bubur Ayam Bunut Sukabumi (chicken porridge), Kupat Tahu Gempol Bandung (made with ketupat, compressed cooked rice with bean sprouts and tofu served with peanut sauce), Mie Koclok Mas Edi Cirebon (beef noodle soup), Mie Tiaw Antasari 72 Pontianak (fried or poured flat rice noodle dish), Nasi Liwet Wongso Lemu Keprabon Solo (aromatic spiced coconut rice), Restoran Mamink Daeng Tata Jakarta (rib soup), Soto Betawi H. Ma’aruf Jakarta (beef soup with fried potato cooked in coconut milk broth), Tahu Telor Cak Kahar Surabaya (tofu omelettes), Tengkleng Klewer Bu Edi Solo (meat soup) and Warung Tongseng Pak Budi (beef or chicken stew).
