2. BART
BART offers an air of luxury, a seventh floor rooftop sanctuary mixing lively atmosphere, hospitality and panoramic views of the leafy residential district of Menteng and the glass and marble corridor of Jalan Thamrin and beyond. The rooftop bar in Central Jakarta is spacious with plenty of seats available in the open air and a small private room with air conditioning. The interior is a smooth execution of monochromic theme that projects an “uptown chicness” feel across the whole space.

BART offers a diverse option of alcoholic drinks, from signature cocktails with tempting names such as Sweet Kisses and Bye-Gone (not the insect repellent) to cognac and whisky. 3. Awan Lounge
All hustle and bustle of the city seems to disappear when you climb up to Awan Lounge. Visitors can take the elevator to the eighth floor and go up the stairs to find a hidden lush garden. Surrounded by plants that are well taken care of, there is a corner with a sofa that overlooks the sunset and other seating areas that fit about 100 guests. Reservation two or three days in advance is suggested for the weekends as the lounge can be crowded.
Awan Lounge has signature cocktails with unique name including Jakarta Street, Surabaya Sling and City Jungle. When it comes to food, you should try the customers’ favorite waffle fried chicken and hamburger. There is also DJ performance every Friday and Saturday from 21.00 onward bringing songs from various genres from RnB, pop, alternative to electronic.

4. Skye
First established in 2012, Skye is one of the oldest rooftop bars in Jakarta. It is divided into two areas, an outdoor lounge for chilling out and an indoor restaurant for dinner. The restaurant itself is divided into two areas, Moon (smoking) and Sun (non-smoking). Visitors should take the elevator to the 56th floor either from the BCA Tower building or East Mall Grand Indonesia.
Both the lounge and restaurant are open at 16.00 with different closing times. The lounge is open until 01.00 from Sunday to Thursday and 02.00 on Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is available until 23.00 from Sunday to Thursday and 00.00 on Friday and Saturday. It is highly recommended to make a reservation beforehand, especially if you plan to hang out in the lounge’s sofa area.
Both the lounge and restaurant offer the same menu, but main courses, such as the steak, can only be enjoyed in the restaurant. For snacks, they have chicken wings, which are seasoned with Sriracha and their special sauce, and tuna feuilette, finely sliced tuna on a crispy tortilla. For drinks, they offer the sweet and sour Skye Sour, the fresh and powerful Dragon Fruit Margarita, Tropical Mojito and Ginger Mojito.

The place is also offering a 360º view of Jakarta’s skyline. Designed to reflect the Baroque era, this lavish establishment offers the best of western food and 4C, coffee, chocolate, cigar, and chichi. The best time to visit would be during sunset so you can get experience both while the sky still bright till the dark.
