Visitors of the National Monument (Monas) now is getting spoiled by new facilities and rides offered every weekend. One of those is a skylift provided by the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency to bring visitors all the way to see monas and surround it from height in a different way.
Other new features include a fire truck, on which visitors can enjoy a tour of the park using the vehicle, and feel the sensation of a flying fox ride. The Jakarta Transportation Agency has also offered up its traffic motorcycles to be on display and allowing visitors who want to take some selfies with that big motorcycle.
And for sports enthusiasts, sports equipment such as badminton rackets, net, shuttlecocks, and ball also available for free by leave your ID. The management had also provided seven praying outdoor spaces for visitors. When it is time to pray, the management will unroll the praying mats, also provide faucets for wudhu (ablution).
Aside providing new facilities and rides to coddle visitors, Monas management also facilitating young Jakartans who want to show their talent. There is a stage and installed a sound system for the public to use free of charge every afternoon 4 – 6 pm on weekends.
