For people who want to be an online taxi driver but don't have a car, now they can breathe freely. It’s because GoJek and PT Astra Internasional Tbk recently launched a program called Go-Fleet. GoFleet is a car rental program for prospective online drivers who want to join.
Not only getting a car rental, the driver who joined Go-Fleet will also get the opportunity to take care of their cars in Astra's garage, and get insurance if an accident occurs. Go-Fleet driver partner is also entitled to earn additional income if there are advertisements posted on their car, whether advertisements on LED screen, car wrap or vending machine.
For the first stage, there will be 1,000 cars provided by Go-Fleet. The cars include Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia. If you want to join Go-Fleet, you must register as a GoCar driver partner. After that, the driver must take administrative selection, verification, and training.
If you want to join Go-Fleet, you are required to pay a commitment fee of Rp 1,500,000. In addition, you will also be charged Rp. 1,180,000 per week, which is deducted from your income each day, or around Rp. 170,000 per day.
