KitaVSCorona, How Grab Indonesia Fight Against Coronavirus

As a protective measure for customers and delivery partners, Grab Indonesia has introduced Contactless Order (Pemesanan Tanpa Kontak).

To fight against Coronavirus pandemic, collaboration around the world is needed, while for the forefront of Grab Indonesia it takes courage to join the KitaVSCorona movement.

"The entire range of Grab Indonesia Drivers, Merchants and employees are united to fight a common enemy, the pandemic virus. KitaVSCorona strives to spread positive values, build determination and empower Indonesians as the community works together to flatten the pandemic curve," said Neneng Goenadi, Managing Director of Grab Indonesia.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak in December, Grab Indonesia has been monitoring the situation and preparing all Grab stakeholders to anticipate the virus.

As a protective measure for customers and delivery partners, Grab Indonesia has introduced Contactless Order (Pemesanan Tanpa Kontak). GrabFood and GrabExpress customers can follow the Contactless Order guide available in the app or by following these three easy steps:

1. Inform delivery partners to place orders outside the door or certain location such as building receptionist if permitted by the building management concerned.

2. The delivery partner will notify the customer when they have arrived at the delivery location, place the order in the designated place and wait for the customer to take the order where they will stand at least two meters from the order.

3. Grab Indonesia strongly recommends that customers choose non-cash payment. If the use of cash is unavoidable, the customer can put the money in an envelope and put it in a pre-determined order.

Delivery partners are also encouraged to wash their hands regularly, clean their GrabFood bags regularly with disinfectant, and apply delivery methods without contact at all times.

There is also GrabHealth powered by Good Doctor. This feature offers health consultation in a free app to costumers, which is run by Good Medical professionals who have been trained by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Agency to answer questions about COVID-19.

Costumers can also buy health products and vitamins or redeem supplements through GrabRewards. GrabHealth will also regularly share educational content to the public to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

While protecting the drivers, Grab has prepared GrabCare package to provide financial and medical assistance to Grab's driver partners if any of them are placed in quarantine mandated by public / government health authorities, or have tested positive for Coron virus.

Grab also provides as many as 100,000 masks for active drivers and can be picked up at the selected train station, GrabBike Lounge and can be exchanged through the GrabBenefits program.

Two-wheeled driver partners and passengers can take the masks provided at four commuter line stations including Sudirman, Gondangdia, Manggarai, and Tebet stations, from 7 to 10 am. There are also hand sanitizers at 11 GrabNow Shelters and 3 GrabBike Lounge. This will allow the Driver Partners to sanitize their vehicles and shipping bags well throughout the day.

GrabBike drivers are also reminded to always wear clean helmets and gloves, as well as to maintain health. GrabBike drivers can use GrabBenefits which consist of discounts for washing jackets and helmets and buying vitamins.
