Because of practical reasons, easy to sip your favorite drink, do you know that every plastic straw you use has any health implications and is bad for the environment?

Most plastic straws use Bisphenol A (BPA), soluble in the foodstuff. This industrial chemical starts mixing with hot beverages or food that might be harmful to your health over the long term, including cancer.

Some health experts say drinking through a straw causes bloating. Each time using a straw leads you to sip in excess air and causes bloating. Along with that, aesthetic experts believe that straw gives a bigger impact on lips. Repetitive muscle motion can create wrinkles on your lips. Lips elasticity and collagen will be damaged caused to repeated straw drinking.

Even some people believe that straws can help keep stains away when drinking coffee or tea, unfortunately, both, coffee and tea stain the enamel on your teeth. If you like to bite straws with your back teeth, drinks with very high acid, such as coffee, and tea will also stain teeth.

If you want to prevent wrinkles and cancer, consider more natural straws like metal, bamboo, straw, acrylic, stainless steel, or glass straws which are believed safer for your health and environment.
