Do you want to try out Muslim-friendly Korean fusion food? Then you must visit this one restaurant, Shin The Korean Grill. The restaurant that you can find on Jalan Gunawarman Number 65 in South Jakarta, has started to enliven culinary destination in Jakarta since November 2019.

Arriving at Shin the Korean Grill, you’ll be greeted by a home with Korean vibe. There are wooden doors and Korean decorations decorating this new Korean restaurant in Jakarta. On the right side next to the reception desk, there’s a sitting area for waiting list visitors. Above the area, there’s an inscription "Shin". Shin in Korean means dedication. Besides it’s a Korean word, Shin is also the name of the Executive Chef and also the restaurant owner, David Shin.

All food at this Korean-fusion concept restaurant is processed with halal process and ingredients. Even all the dipping sauce was homemade to ensure halal. Shin the Korean Grill is increasingly Muslim-friendly by also providing prayer room (musola) in it. For capacity, this restaurant can accommodate up to 50 visitors.

Just like Korean fusion, this Korean restaurant in South Jakarta combines Korean specialties with Mexican, Italian and French flavors. One of them is Korean Beef Ravioli. This dish uses homemade pasta and contains beef which has already been seasoned using Shin signature sauce. This combination creates thick Korean flavor in each piece of ravioli.

Besides Korean Beef Ravioli, there are also five other Korean fusion pasta menus that are good to taste, such as Oriental Basil Pesto Fettucini, Oriental Vongole, Bulgogi Penne, Spicy Spaghetti Bolognese, and Black Bean Tagliatelle. Concerning the price, Shin the Korean Grill sells its dishes starting from Rp 165,000 for Korean Grill dishes.
