Multipurpose bridge or Tanah Abang Skybridge has been opened to the public since December 7. The 400 meter long bridge has been equipped with four portable toilets, 446 kiosks measuring 2 x 1.5 meters, which are provided for street vendors (Pedagang Kaki Lima), and a Musala. The Skybridge is also connected with Tanah Abang Blok G and Blok F, and Tanah Abang Station as well.
PD Sarana Jaya also imposed strict rules for traders at Tanah Abang Skybridge. Each kiosk can only be filled by two traders to prevent chaos. Because of that too traders are required to use name tag that has been given. The officer was deployed to prevent traders who did not have name tag selling on the skybridge. Each kiosk is also given a yellow line in front of it as a barrier to selling, so it does not cause chaos and does not disturb visitors who are passing by.
For those who want to use the skybridge, you can go to Tanah Abang Explore bus stop which is near to the Jati Baru flyover. Or go through the side near Tanah Abang station. Jalan Jati Baru traffic which is located right below the Tanah Abang Skybridge has been opened in two directions.
