For three days, since September 20th , 2018, BEKRAF Creative Labs (BCL) Animakini x CiFFest 2018 officially end on September 22th, 2018, at 9 pm. Combining animation and fashion, this event showed dozens work of fashion design schools as interpretation of Trend Forecasting 2019/2020 with a theme “Singularity” which divided into four subthemes, Exuberant by Jakarta Art Institute (IKJ), Svarga by Binus, Cortex by Susan Budihardjo Fashion Design School Jakarta and Neo Medival by ESMOD Jakarta.
This collaborative event opened with David Rafael Tandayu, Indonesian rapper and followed by street dancer and fashion show from Study Program of Fine Arts, Jakarta Art Institute (IKJ). Performing “Exuberant”, they showed cheerfulness and optimism through bright colors and futuristic touch. Jakarta Art Institute showed 12 designs made by two students of Fine Arts program study, Evlyn Laurencia and Ailla Kemala Dewi.

Followed by Binus Northumbria Scholl of Design (BNSD) that performing their “Svarga” collection, contemporary design using traditional cloth. Svarga itself is a representation of all mankind dream, to live life happily and peacefully, it can be happened if we all respect each other, there is no conflict and unfair rivalry.
In the third row, Fashion Design School Jakarta, Susan Budihardjo performing great collection “Cortex” at Teater Besar Taman Ismail Marzuki. Inspiring by line in human body, Cortex made guests totally in awe.
Last one is ESMOD Jakarta, performing their collection “Neo Medieval” by their 13 androgyny models. There is also a pantomime performance by 20 students of ESMOD Jakarta, wearing black stretch tulle and plastic wrap covering their faces. Brilliant music arranger, Mr. Guillaume Oger successfully brought you a relaxing, classic church ambience to the trash metal and electronic underground vibes.

Essentially, a fashion show featured collaborations, other supporting elements, such as lighting, music, make up, including animation multimedia and dance performances.
