Celebrating 40 years journey in fashion industry, Poppy Dharsono exhibited her incredibly works with beauty, classic, timeless Indonesia heritage concept. Carried distinguish theme, Syahda Pusaka, APPMI and Indonesian Fashion Week 2018 President brought 99 clothing in many ways, such as batik, tenun (handwoven textile in great variety of patterns and motifs) and lurik (another traditional woven fabric used in many religious rituals and ceremonies). All those great works presented beautifully in celebration 40 years journey in fashion industry as well as closing ceremony of Indonesian Fashion Week 2018.

Started with fashion parade by Poppy’s best friends, such as Musa, Sugeng Waskito, Harry Ibrahim, Ghea Panggabean, Itang Yunasz, Chossy Latu, Nilou, Rudy Chandra, Naniek Rachmat, Nita Senoaji, Misan Kopaka, Maya Suharnoko, Rudy Suharnoko, Sonny Muchlison, Juliet R, Aam Hamada, Ivan Gunawan, Coenrad, Samuel Wattimena, Ian Adrian, Corry Kastubi, Eno Makaluse and Datuk Reza.
Poppy Dharsono showing 120 clothing, including MC’s clothes. The fashion show itself involved 8 senior model showed up in the beginning and closing fashion parade, such as Danny Dahlan, Sarita, Okky Asokawati, Enny Soekamto and Chitra Yuliastuti.
To sum up, Poppy used all traditional woven garment for this biggest fashion show. Colourful garments being beautiful harmonization in diversity, all of Poppy works always successfully bring pleasant yet classic moment to offer at the worldwide fashion show which is more fashionable and modern.
