1. Museum of Memorial Stone Park
Museum of Memorial Stone Park was formerly a cemetery built by the Dutch colonial government in 1795. As its name implies, the main collection of the museum is the Dutch gravestones. For you who loves to capture historical objects, you should add this place to your photo hunting location list.

The cemetery used to house 4,600 graves, including those of Olivia Mariamne Raffles, the wife of British governor general Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles, and activist Soe Hok Gie. All of the bodies have since been moved to the Netherlands or other public cemeteries in Jakarta, leaving around 900 tombstones and their inscriptions.

From the outside, the café is a two-storey establishment looks striking with its white brick facade. But what lies inside is quite surprise. Built to resemble a home, Lucky Cat brings to mind an abandoned house that has been revamped and turned into a cosy café. An old tree sits near the staircase at the back with branch-like lighting hanging down from the ceiling.

4. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)
As a miniature park, there are many pavilions at TMII. Each of them represents each province in Indonesia and its culture. In the middle of TMII area, there is a man-made lake with a miniature Indonesia archipelago. One of the most favorite spots for photography hunters is Istana Anak-anak Indonesia, a red castle that looks just like in your favorite princess tales.

5. Taman Menteng
Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto is home to the famous Taman Menteng. It is an open space that can be used for various activities, ranging from playing basketball to photo-shooting like pre-wedding. It also has a special kids’ playground and prayer room (musala). Was built in 1921 as a soccer stadium that could accommodate 10.000 visitors. The locals often called it Stadion Persija.
Taman Menteng has greenhouses that are often used as exhibition venues. Moreover, you can find the Cemara Norfolk (Araucaria heterophylla) that was planted by Finnish Ambassador to Indonesia Paivi Hiltunen-Toivio and former Jakarta governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama in 2017.
