Indeed, working from home sounds fun. Because we don't need to bother leaving the house through traffic jams in the capital city or wearing formal clothes. However, that doesn't mean working from home is not without problems. If you don't treat it as working in the office, you will also feel overwhelmed and it will hinder your work.

Quoted from JobStreet, several simple tips can keep you productive even though you work from home.

1. Have a Decent Work Space
Don't think you can work optimally by lying down in the right sleeping position. Indeed, at first, you will feel comfortable, but over time it will make you feel lazy and start to feel sleepy.

If you want to stay productive, prepare a workspace that is appropriate and suitable for your work. This method will make your body automatically feel enthusiastic and focused on working.

2. Use a Suitable Chair
In the same situation, also have a suitable chair for working. Use a chair that is commonly used in offices to work. Because this chair is designed to keep your body posture upright, but still able to lean back, so your body doesn't feel sore easily.

3. Find Your Rhythm
Depending on the type of work, you may not need to follow the typical working hours of your workplace. This will help you find a work rhythm, so you can work productively. Some of us feel energetic in the morning, but some only find their rhythm in the afternoon or evening.

Even if your job requires you to follow office hours, knowing a regular work rhythm will help you better manage unproductive work hours. You can schedule manual labor for those hours, or make a big cup of coffee if you have a pile of reports to read.

The point is, that being able to anticipate underperforming work hours can help you turn things around.

4. Start the Day Right
Following the previous point, you should also have a healthy breakfast to start whatever your activity is. After breakfast, give yourself time to relax and regroup before starting work.

Meditate, do yoga, or do anything to get into a productive frame of mind.

5. Choose the Right Song
It sounds trivial, but listening to songs that match your work rhythm can make a big difference to work productivity. If you listen to soft music during your less productive working hours, you will become increasingly lazy to complete your work, and your concentration will be lost. So, choose the right song to lift your spirits.
