Provincial Government of Jakarta planned to close MH Thamrin Street, Central Jakarta to patung kuda, when new year's eve. There will be car free night festival along the road.
In the previous year, Sudirman Street also closed, but not this year. The reason is the closing of the street will disrupt the operational of hotels which stand on this street.
This car free night in onle one section expected will make the new year's eve more rousing. This festival will entertain Jakartans with music performances and culinary bazaar.
