Enliven Indonesia's 74th Anniversary with the Festival of Light in Monas

Festival of Light displaying many lamp decorations made to resemble diorama shapes.

In order to enliven the 74th Indonesia Independence Day, Monas Week 2019 this time presents a very interesting exhibition titled Festival of Light. The lamp exhibition also aims to foster public appreciation of the public space in Monas area.

As the name implies, the Festival of Light gives meaning to the public space in Monas at night with lamp decorations made to resemble diorama shapes at National History Museum. The lamps are also have red and white touch, the color of the Indonesian flag.

The festival is held at Taman Selatan in Monas area, Central Jakarta and has been going on since 15 August and will end on 23 August, except 19 August because Monas is closed on Monday. The Festival of Light itself starting at 18:30 WIB to 22:00 WIB. This light exhibition is open to the public and free. 

Festival of Light only lasts for eight days, make sure you don’t miss the chance to take pictures in front of very interesting lamp decorations.
