Soft skills are abilities that you must also have in the world of work. Soft skills themselves prioritize intra and interpersonal skills to support the hard skills (technical abilities) that you have. The following are soft skills that many companies consider in the process of screening new employees and of course, you must have and develop them to be successful in your career.

1. Communication
Not a few companies select employees based on their communication skills rather than experience, even though the person has quite a lot of experience. It is not without reason that companies screen new employees based on their ability to communicate. Because when you work, you don't work alone but with many people. This of course requires you to be able to communicate well. If you don't have these soft skills, you may experience difficulties in building relationships, discussing, and developing.

2. Creative
Almost all companies will look for employees who can think outside the box. In other words, able to generate creative and informative ideas. Usually, people who think outside the box will focus on finding effective and efficient solutions until they get results, not just complaining when faced with a problem.

3. Adaptable
At first, every job must feel difficult. Not being used to it and there being so many things to learn are the reasons why a job feels hard. However, if you have good adaptability, you will be able to get through these difficult times.
Apart from adapting to a new (work) environment, you are also required to be able to adapt to the times. Even though your job doesn't require you to always be in the office, you still have to be smart in managing your time to make work your main priority. So you can use your free time to do the activities you want, don't let it turn upside down and become complacent.
