When floods hit, maybe there are some items that are submerged. If your smartphone is one of them, don't be sad! There are several ways you can do to save your smartphone that is submerged in water. Check it out below!
1. Immediately take your smartphone that has been submerged.
2. If your smartphone was on when it was submerged, turn it off immediately.
3. Do not plug your smartphone into a connected charger.
4. Do not turn on your smartphone if it’s being off after being submerged in water.
5. Dry your smartphone immediately with a towel.
6. Remove all accessories such as your smartphone casing.
7. Remove your SIM and external memory.
8. Find out is your SIM, external memory, and its slots are wet. If they are, leave it to dry.
9. If you have a vacuum cleaner, use it to suck the water. But do not use hair dryer or other things that is hot.
10. Use water absorbent and moist to dry your smartphone, one of those is by soaking it in rice.
11. After hushed up for several hours (can be a day), take your smartphone from the rice, then clean it.
12. Make sure again whether the memory slots, charger, until the headphone jack are completely dry.
13. Turn on your smartphone. If it’s not turn on, then you must bring it to your smartphone service center, so your smartphone can be handled immediately by the experts.
