Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1439 H, Istiqlal management hold some Ramadan activities for their congregation.
These activities aim so Muslims can feel a month full of blessings, improves syiar and the excitement of Ramadan. They expecting Masjid Istqlal can be a best place and an oase for the citizen who wants to fulfil their worships with calmly and peacefully.
During Ramadan, there will be 17 special programs. They are Shalawat Rawatib Berjamaah, I'tikaf, Istiqlal Bermauidzah Hasanah, interactive dialogue, and fast breaking together.
Istiqlal Berbuka Puasa Bersama become one of their top programs and being awaited by the citizen. Everyday, Istiqlal will serves thousand Muslims who want to break their fasting at the largest Mosque in Southeast Asia.
Other interesting program at Istiqlal during Ramadan is nationality dialogue. Some nation figures and clerics will be invited as the speakers. While for Istiqlal Bertarawih program, predicted there will be 33 thousand Muslims doing Taraweh prayer.
Masjid Istiqlal will also echoing the holy surah of Alquran. In Masjid Istiqlal Bertilawatil Quran program, Indonesian and International Quran reciters will read Quran melodiously before Taraweh prayer and Friday prayer (Jum’ah). Meanwhile, Istiqlal Bernuzul Quran will invite the Governor of NTB, TGH Muhammad Zainul Majdi and Ustaz Abdul Somad.
